The expected pay range for a Lumberyard Specialist in Kailua-Kona:

• Lumberyard Specialist I: $18.90 per hour
• Lumberyard Specialist II: $19.40 to $22.25 per hour

HPM Building Supply in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii is seeking to hire a full-time Lumberyard Specialist to save the day by ensuring our customers get the materials they need. The Lumberyard Specialist is the first to respond when an order is placed and sets the tone for our customers' experience with us. We work with people who live and breathe building materials, so we need someone ready to be the hero they need!

The typical schedule for this Lumberyard Specialist position after the training period is:

Sunday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Monday-Thursday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

During the training period, the schedule will vary with possible earlier start times and different days of the week. Overtime may be required to meet business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous customer service and cash-handling experience is highly preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of building materials and lumber is preferred
• Forklift certification or ability to be forklift certified
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in our outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
