SALARY RANGE:
Engineer VI, SR-28: $7,747.00 - $8,809.00 per month (includes shortage differential)
All new external applicants will be placed on the initial step of the salary range. Placement above the initial step will be based on special characteristics and critical needs of the position, an applicant's exceptional qualifications, the availability of funds, and other relevant factors. Such appointments require prior approval. Hawaii State Department of Education employees will be placed on the salary range in accordance with Department regulations.

*For the Engineer VI level, at least one year of the required engineering experience must have been experience comparable to the next lower level.

For the Engineer IV and higher levels, applicants must possess a Hawaii State Certificate of Registration as a professional engineer.
Applicant must have a current, valid driver's license.
Applicants must be able to lift/carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted.
