We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Financial Analyst to support the financial and business initiatives at Praecipio. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, client engagement, and strategic advisory. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven professional skilled in analyzing financial and operational data, developing plans and budgets, and presenting actionable insights. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems such as NetSuite is essential, while knowledge of SaaS business models, Jira ticketing systems, and financial planning tools will be highly advantageous.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and operational data including revenue, expenses, balance sheet accounts, and key operational metrics used to assess business performance and process efficiency.
  • Extract, clean, and interpret data from systems like NetSuite, generating actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Create detailed financial plans and operational reports for internal stakeholders and clients, customizing them to changing business or client needs.
  • Provide recommendations on financial opportunities, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with the CFO, Financial Controller and VP of Sales Operations to present and implement strategies that enhance financial performance and business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients to ensure long-term collaboration.
  • Develop and deliver engaging reports and dashboards in Power BI to communicate key findings.

Requirements for Success

Technical Ability

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and GoogleSheets.
  • The ability to leverage tools like Power BI to extract and analyze data.
  • Effectively navigate and extract data from NetSuite and other business systems.

Problem Solving and Critical Thinking

  • Ability to dissect complex financial data and identify patterns, trends and anomalies.
  • Able to break down problems into smaller, manageable parts for resolution.
  • Data driven decision making, proficiency in extracting, cleaning and interpreting data from multiple systems e.g. NetSuite, PowerBI, Salesforce
  • Experience using data analysis to identify opportunities, solve inefficiencies and predict outcomes.
  • Capacity to propose creative and practical solutions to financial challenges or process inefficiencies.
  • Capacity to evaluate incomplete or ambiguous information and make sound judgements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years experience as a Financial Analyst, Operations Business Analyst, or similar role focused on leveraging data and reporting to ensure financial effectiveness is visible to executives and decision makers.
  • Demonstrated ability with a minimum of three years analyzing complex financial information, developing actionable plans.
  • Minimum of one year applying advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems like NetSuite, and Power BI, Salesforce for data analysis and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CRM systems, Jira ticketing, and SaaS business models is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-oriented mindset.
  • BSc/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, CPA) are a plus.

Benefits

Salary

90,000-120,000 USD dependent on location and experience.
