Responsibilities: • Establish strong relationships with new clients as their trusted advisor and continuously identify, seek, and approach prospects • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to existing clients; track and monitor communications in the client file, including strategies and financial advice given • Gather each client's financial information to determine financial status, cash flow, financial goals, and financial expectations • Aid clients in implementing financial recommendations such as savings plans, life insurance, mutual funds, and other financial products • Synthesize and present financial recommendations and strategies that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives • Work with the existing client base and lead flow to generate new business • Prospecting for clients through networking and referrals • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients • Providing financial solutions for clients through fact-gathering and needs analyses • Expanding personal knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and joint work with fellow associates Qualifications: • Success as a financial planner, personal financial advisor, financial analyst, or financial consultant is desired • Relevant knowledge of the financial industry, financial products, best practices, and tax regulations is vital • Excellent math skills, relationship skills, communication skills, and customer service skills are crucial • Program proficiency including MS Office, Google Suite, CRM systems, and financial planning software is preferred • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field is required • Must be Series 7/6, Series 63/66 licensed and 215 licensed • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus • Market development/networking abilities • BA, BS, and/or graduate degree or equivalent work experience required Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000+
