Project Manager Santa Ana, CA (Remote) 6-Month Contract (Potential for extension and temp to perm) Job ID 24-09320 Solugenix is assisting a client, a leading financial services company, in their search for a Project Manager. This is a 6-month contract opportunity based out of Santa Ana, CA (Remote). Required skills: Budget, Presentation Skills, Microsoft PowerPoint, Project Management, Cost Estimates. Top desired key skills: Excellent communicator and ability to facilitate conversations with varying levels within the organization/vendors, Ability to synthesize complex information, Excellent PowerPoint, and presentation skills – and ability to customize messages based on audience (e.g., executives, people doing the work, managers), Strong Excel skills. Qualifications: Generally, requires a BS Degree in a business field or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of project management best practices and current technologies to plan and communicate effectively with project team and sponsors. Experience with project management methodologies and techniques. Experience with applicable business processes sufficient to communicate and consult with team members, customers, and management. Experience with planning, coordinating, and administering projects in a business and/or technology environment. Experience with risk management. Experience with managing multiple projects or large projects. Experience with managing project plans and budgets. Experience with facilitating meetings. Good verbal and written communication skills sufficient to create project plans and other project documentation. Knowledge of communication, stat using, and Project Management tools to create project documents and reports. Responsibilities:The role is for a non-technical contract Project Manager, Level II (3-5 years' experience). Produce project-related materials, including slides, status updates, release schedules, etc. Create project plan, clarify, and communicate objectives, scope, roles and responsibilities, and flow of info. Clarify project team operating mechanisms, including storage of project materials, and meeting mgmt. Facilitate project calls and keep stakeholders informed of decisions, progress, issues, risks, and timelines. Work with Sponsors to identify how we'll know the project is successful and identify how best to measure it. Identify and track tasks, deadlines, risks, actions, issues, and decisions - escalate issues where required. Work with stakeholders to understand their needs/requirements and help facilitate understanding between project members to keep the project running smoothly. Mitigate risk and keep the project on track. Monitor vendor invoicing for accuracy and to ensure efficient use of vendor resources. Work with the project team to identify change mgmt. Needs and develops communications and training plans. Connect with HR PMO on parallel workstreams to ensure alignment and clarity of responsibilities. Drive project close activities, including retrospective/lessons-learned, project close report. Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $57.62/hour to $57.62/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
