RESPONSIBILITIES**JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:**- Provides antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, Family Planning, and general gynecology services.- Collaborates with the OB-GYN and Family Practice Obstetrician per the Delineated Policy for Certified Nurse Midwife Practice.**TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**- Finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, and speaking.- Frequent: standing, walking, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions.- Occasional: sitting, stooping/bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting, twisting body, lifting and carrying weight up to 20 pounds, pushing/pulling up to maximum 50 pounds of force.**TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:**- Exposure to body fluids, blood products, and communicable diseases.- Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:****A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:**- Recognition as an APRN with subspecialty as a certified Nurse Midwife by the Hawaii State Board of Nursing.- Credentialing and privileging required.- Current NRP certification.- Current BLS certification.**B.
