What We Are Looking For:

Full Life is looking for a team member ready to make a difference in the lives of participants and the community! We seek a passionate and dedicated Day Program Lead for our Adult Day Program in Kailua-Kona.

The Day Program Lead is an in-person position that will act as a lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) overseeing daily operations at the Casa Del Emdeko and Ali'i Gardens Marketplace. This role involves providing hands-on assistance to participants, aiming to enhance their emotional, physical, and social well-being through person-centered planning and community integration approaches. The Day Program Lead will develop an engaging program curriculum and art projects that align with the interests and talents of our participants. Additionally, this role will support coordinating transportation for participants to attend the program, get them active through community socialization, and collect and monitor essential documentation in compliance with the Developmental Disabilities Division (DDD) and Full Life requirements.

What You'll Bring:

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skillsets and a passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community setting.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma Required. Degree in preferred field, preferred;
  • One or more years of related experience working with persons with disabilities preferred;
  • Current CPR & First Aid clearance,
  • No history/conviction of abuse, neglect, theft, or other job-related crimes;
  • Must meet Full Life requirements for drug test & criminal background/records check;
  • Valid health certificate (including TB clearance) to meet current funding jurisdiction requirements; and
  • A valid state-issued driver's license with valid automobile insurance is required.

What We Offer:

At Full Life, we prioritize empowering our team to succeed. We offer a competitive salary for our employees, starting at $21.50 per hour for this full-time position located in Kailua-Kona. The work schedule is Monday through Friday. Additionally, we provide incentives for completing and maintaining annual training requirements, further demonstrating our commitment to supporting the growth and success of our team.
