Scope:

The Cloud Administrator is responsible for maintaining the organization's cloud infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of cloud-based systems, as well as collaborating with other IT staff to support the organization's cloud strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cloud platforms and a proactive approach to problem-solving and system optimization.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Administration

• Monitor the security, performance, and availability of cloud services. Maintain cloud environments (AWS, MS365, Azure, etc).

• Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell) and tools for automation of cloud operations.

• Maintain monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of cloud services. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure. Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventative measures.

• Provide technical guidance and support to other IT staff and end-users. Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for support of cloud services.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud environments, configurations, and procedures. Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices and share knowledge with the team.

• 2 to 7 years experience
• Associate or Technical degree
• Four year college degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, MS365, Azure, etc.)
• Proficiency in cloud security best practices and tools
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud networking configurations
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
