WHAT YOU'LL DO

The role of the Administrative Assistant, Open Enrollment is to provide direct support to the benefits department in achieving goals related to open enrollment activities, through effective and accurate data entry, and various administrative tasks. This is a temporary role from July 2024 through January 2025, with the possibility of full-time, permanent placement with exceptional performance.

* Tracks collection of enrollment or waiver forms for employees; and client selection changes, ensuring that healthcare and voluntary benefits enrollment forms are entered on time and are accurate.

* Supports the benefits department with auditing various reports for accuracy, appropriate billing, and compliance. Ensures that healthcare enrollment and HC-5 waiver forms are fully completed, with no missing information.

* Effectively identifies and communicates discrepancies to benefits team and clients. Updates various databases and cases to assist the Benefits team.

* Support general Benefits Administrative tasks and projects.

WHAT WE'D LIKE FOR YOU TO HAVE

* Experience.

* Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a fast paced environment that requires strong attention to detail. Prior experience in HR or general business administration is a plus.

* Proficient with Excel, Word, and Google Applications.

* Ability to learn new platforms and systems.

* Strong analysis skills. Able to identify significant problems and opportunities, by analyzing them in depth. Able to determine root causes by being naturally curious.

* Judgment & Decision Making. Confidence in judgment and decision making. Able to demonstrate consistent logic, rationality, and objectivity in decision-making.

* Organization and Time Management. Strong organization and time management skills. Able to focus on key priorities while effectively juggling multiple projects and tasks with tight deadlines. Able to adjust quickly to changes and prioritize throughout the day. Pays strong attention to detail.

* Team Player. Willingness to collaborate and contribute to our norm of "winning as a team".

* Self-Motivation. As this role is administrative in nature, successful candidates must maintain a high level of personal drive, commitment, initiative, and resilience to achieve team goals.
