Weekly Pay Range - $2115 To $2349 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:30 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience and/or experience congruent with role in service line License: Registered Nurse State License Certifications: - AHA BLS - Basic Life Support Certificate - AHA ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certificate - AHA NIHSS Must-Have: - Proof of COVID and flu vaccination (declinations accepted) - Full Hepatitis B series (3 doses) or positive Hep B antibody documentation - Willingness to float to other units, including MS/TELE, if requested - Level 1, teaching, and large hospital experience desired Job Description: - Provide professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Direct and manage the care of designated patients in accordance with facility or department policies and procedures. - Utilize effective and appropriate communication styles. - Assist in maintaining a safe work environment. - Maintain clinical and professional competency appropriate to the population of patients served. - Organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care. - Complete additional orientation programs related to specialty as required. - Maintain unit-specific competencies. - Demonstrate basic computer skills. - Wear navy blue scrubs as per dress code. - Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical record system. - This is a patient-facing, clinical, non-remote position in a critical care float pool.
