Experience: 2 years teaching ESL or EFL in a classroom setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field

Job Description:

• Meet ESL program objectives and ensure client satisfaction within budget
• Develop and execute lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals
• Engage students using diverse teaching methods to enhance language skills
• Assess and provide feedback on student progress regularly
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress to relevant parties
• Create a supportive classroom environment that fosters participation
• Manage classroom behavior to maintain a productive learning atmosphere
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and levels
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve the educational experience
• Participate in meetings, training and professional development sessions

Position Requirements:

• Communicate effectively in oral and written English and Spanish
• Ability to translate written and oral word to and from Spanish/English
• Ability to write routine internal reports and correspondence
