JOB TITLE: Sr Network Azure Engineer POSITION TYPE: Long Term Contractual Client: San Francisco-based Wealth Management Client (Direct Client) LOCATION: San Francisco, CA Please check the job description below for your reference: Summary: This role involves performing network engineering, administration, and support functions within the enterprise network infrastructure, with a focus on third-party services, Azure, and network automation. The candidate will support installations and troubleshoot incidents at local offices and data centers, ensuring network availability, optimization, and security. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure solutions (hardware/software). Manage third-party services, DMZ/Extranet, cloud (Azure), and automation (Terraform, Ansible, Python). Handle remote access services (Cisco AnyConnect) and disaster recovery. Automate network tasks for enhanced efficiency and accuracy. Create and maintain network documentation and support strategies. Support physical design and implementation in data centers (cabling, hardware installation). Select and implement security tools, and policies for third-party connections. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and assist in global office deployments. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Experience: 6 years in network engineering (Cisco environment), supporting hosted data centers. Certifications: CCNA/CCNP preferred. Skills: Advanced knowledge of Cisco Networking, Firewall Management, Cisco ISE, Azure, and network automation (Python, Ansible/Terraform). Desired: Experience with SD-WAN, Forescout, Forcepoint, Datadog/Dynatrace, and disaster recovery.
