Position: General Manager

Status: Full Time

Position Summary: Reports to the Director of Operations. The General Manager ensures smooth operations for all assigned outlets on a daily basis. This position must strive to continually improve guest and team member satisfaction and maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility. The General Manager is expected to lead by example and embody the standards set forth by the company.

Schedule: Open availability, 40 hours or more per week, including holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality assurance including knowledge, application, and ability to train on recipes and proper SOPs.
  • Ensure health and sanitation standards are practiced.
  • Maintain proper record keeping regarding safe food practices and logs.
  • Ensure operations and orders go out in a timely manner.
  • Assist team members during peak periods and understand all positions well enough to perform duties in team members' absence.
  • Provide impeccable customer service.
  • Manage labor pragmatically.
  • Develop the team, including supervision, discipline, and training.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments of the company.
  • Report daily to the Executive Team.
  • Act as a liaison between the Executive Team and Store Employees.
  • Handle hiring, onboarding, and termination.
  • Oversee store maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems within areas of responsibility daily.
  • Manage inventory.
  • Maintain vendor relations.
  • Handle cash transactions.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of management experience in food service preferred.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Proficiency in various software and equipment necessary to perform job functions (e.g., e-mail, POS).
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work in temperatures ranging from 0°- 95°.
  • Able to stand for 8 hours or more.
  • Food Handler's Certificate.
  • TB Clearance.
  • Liquor Card.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred).

Experience:

  • Restaurant Experience: 2 years (Preferred).

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred).

Ability to Relocate:

  • Honolulu, HI 96815: Relocate before starting work (Required).

Work Location: In person.
