POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Property & Guest Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience during their stay. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our properties, as well as providing prompt and courteous assistance to guests whenever needed. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate for this role should have previous experience in hospitality, property management, or a related field. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and be able to adapt to changing priorities and guest needs. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as you will be interacting with guests and colleagues on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Housekeeping Management:

  • Implement housekeeping protocols and standards for consistent property cleanliness and presentation.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure properties meet cleanliness and aesthetic standards before guest arrivals.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team for repairs and improvements. Inventory Control:
  • Maintain inventory of amenities, linens, and other essentials.
  • Conduct routine inventory checks to ensure adequate stock levels.

Guest Experience:

  • Ensure rental properties are clean and welcoming upon guest arrival.
  • Address guest feedback and housekeeping-related concerns promptly.
  • Enhance guest experience through improved housekeeping practices. Process Improvement:
  • Evaluate and refine housekeeping processes for efficiency and reduced turnaround times.
  • Implement technologies to enhance communication, scheduling, and reporting. Team Leadership:
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training housekeeping staff.
  • Foster a positive team environment and promote open communication.
  • Cover shifts for team members when necessary.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Maintain records and generate reports on housekeeping performance.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify trends and optimize operations.

Administrative Duties:

  • Ensure adherence to Short-Term Vacation Rental (STVR) regulations.
  • Print and submit invoices timely.
  • Handle document shredding for confidentiality.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls professionally.
  • Manage office supplies and maintain stock levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Experience in housekeeping and guest care within the hospitality or vacation rental industry
  • Understanding of housekeeping best practices, cleaning techniques, and safety protocols
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent team and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse team
  • Proficient in using technology and software for scheduling, reporting, and communication
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick, effective decisions

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Wage Range: $18 - $21 based on experience and achievement

Bonus: Semi-annual bonus contingent on company growth and performance
