Reports to: Executive Steward
Supervises: No supervisory duties are included in this position.
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or GED.
Core Competencies and Expectations
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals.
Work in compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and Clubs health and safety policies and procedures.
Ensure that kitchen and/or work area is kept clean and tidy.
Report all accidents, illnesses or near miss incidents immediately to manager on duty or supervisor.
Attention to detail by making sure all pots and cook ware are thoroughly clean and work tasks are completed in full.
Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
