Job Description
The base salary range for this position is $75k - $85k.
Join our team as Banquet Manager and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and execution of all banquet functions. The successful candidate is highly energetic, well-organized, strategic, and front-facing with an entrepreneurial spirit. We are looking for a leader who can rally the team and create vibrancy, style, and buzz with the product and service.
- Ensures banquet set-up, displays, food service, etc., are according to event order.
- Works closely with the Events & Catering team to plan and detail events.
- Play a key role in meetings with event coordinators and Banquet Event Order meetings.
- Maintains high visibility with guests, greets guests upon arrival, handles guest complaints to satisfaction.
- Conducts on-going training sessions with the team to increase their knowledge in banquet service.
- Participate in employee and community relations functions.
- Leads daily briefings.
Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position, in a related setting with supervisory responsibilities.
- Consistent attention to detail.
- Strong and clear communication skills.
- Developed time management skills.
- Previous food and beverage leadership background in a luxury hotel setting.
- Experience with InfoGenesis point of sales system.
- Experience with Google Suites.
- Food Handlers certification.
- Valid Tuberculosis (TB) clearance is required for all Food & Beverage positions.
