POSITION SUMMARY

Performs various general clerical, accounting, and administrative support functions in the Accounting Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

General accounts receivable functions

• Prepare and submit customer invoices
• Prepare and coordinate deposits
• Code, post, and receipt payments
• Perform document imaging of Accounts Receivable documents

• Check, verify, and process invoices
• Sort, code, and enter accounts payable data
• Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
• Maintain vendor files
• Sort and mail check payments to vendors
• Perform document imaging of Accounts Payable documents

• Maintain accounting files and financial records
• Assist in month-end reporting procedures
• Assist with employee expense reports
• Perform filing and general administrative tasks
• Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors

• An associate degree in business or accounting is an advantage
• Two years experience in General Accounting
• 1-year experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• MS Office and knowledge of accounting software
