Hawaii Ship Provisioning Description This position assist the Supervisor/Manager and performs duties which requires manual labor to both provide and ensure the provision of work in accordance with the Statement of Work incorporated into the contract between VersAbility and the US Government at the Pearl Harbor-Hickam Base.

Primary Responsibilities

Performs physical tasks such as manually unloading or loading navy ships or other transporting devices.

Sorts, stocks, pulls product, packages and re-packages in proper storage locations.

Transports goods by hand truck, cart, or daisy chain.

Complies with safety program and adheres to proper safety practices.

Responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures as set forth by VersAbility and the U.S. Government.

Requirements Qualifications/Skills & Knowledge Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Obtain a National Agency Check with Local Agency and Credit Checks (NACLC) determined background check

Have reliable transportation to work locations

Must be able to work a flexible schedule

Must be a US Citizen

Clear access to Naval Piers and Bases

Physical Demands:

Work is performed indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and temperatures

Must be comfortable occasionally working in tight, narrow spaces

Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and vibration.

Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
