**Description**

This person is responsible for a ensuring courteous, friendly and efficient food and beverage service to banquet clients consistent with the standards of Hilton Hotels and Resorts. Services and trains banquet staff and is responsible for the overall operation of the Banquet Department in the absence of the Banquet Manager. Create 100% guest satisfaction by providing "can do" attitude and consistently exceeds guest expectations.

The ideal candidate must:

* Be able to efficiently coordinate and direct banquet personnel.

* Ensures delivery of high quality banquet service.

* Is alert in identifying, anticipating and addressing customer needs

* Handles guest concerns and complaints promptly and tactfully.

* Works closely with the kitchen and ensures that Department of Health sanitation practices are followed.

* Provides team members with feedback on job performance.

Required:

* Minimum 2 years banquet wait help experience in a hotel or convention setting.

* High School graduate or GED.

* Relevant military experience in a comparable capacity.

* TB clearance

* Honolulu Liquor Card

* Ability to squat, lift, kneel, squat, stoop, reach and carry and transport trays weighing 35 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout a shift.

* Ability to lift tables/chairs up to 30 lbs.

* Push/pull up to 200 lbs.

* Continuous walking, standing for entire shift.

* Ability to speak and speak clearly on all communication devices.

* CPR and Standard First Aid Certification, preferred.
