As a Benefit Services Specialist, you'll work closely with our clients and their employees, providing customer service support and demonstrating expertise in benefits administration. You'll assist our customers by guiding employees through the enrollment, understanding and answering questions pertaining to our health and welfare offerings (medical, drug, vision, and dental coverage), tracking eligibility requirements, and assisting with questions around short and long term disability.u00a0


What You'll Do

  • Monitor eligibility and compliance requirements to process enrollments and terminations of coverage.u00a0 Ensure 100% accuracy of forms pertaining to enrollment including HC-5, COBRA, TDI, and healthcare enrollment forms. Audit work to ensure appropriate billing, and generate detailed reports for both internal and external users.
  • Respond to inquiries and engage with business owners and their employees over the phone and via email, ensuring that all interactions are professional and positive experiences. Inquiries include questions regarding eligibility, plan provisions, status changes, and other general information. Ensure client and employee records are updated in a timely manner.
  • Actively contribute and participate in annual Open Enrollment initiatives and activities from July through December.

  • Minimum Experience Required:
  • 5+ years of customer service experience in an administrative role.u00a0
  • Prior experience in HR or benefits administration is a plus.
