Civil/Mechanical General Contractor seeking Project Engineer

Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with construction supervision, project engineering & CAD drawings, project documentation, job cost accounting, and scheduling efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion. 

 Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site management to ensure project success
• Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
• Assist in the preparation and interpretation of engineering drawings
• Assist with the RFI and submittal process
• Assist with owner billings and project related accounting issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or any Engineering related field, Construction Management, or equivalent degree
• Entry level to 5+ years' of experience in construction or engineering
• Strong experience in AutoCad, SolidWorks, or other CAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
