Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Laie, HI for an Assistant Professor in Communication, Media & Culture. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching university courses, developing curriculum, conducting research, and contributing to the academic development of the Communication, Media & Culture department. The role also involves engaging with students in and out of the classroom to foster a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in University Teaching and Curriculum Development
• Proficiency in Communication and Strategic Communications
• Media Production a plus
• Some Research skills
• Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills
• Ability to work in an intercultural and diverse environment
• Ph.D. in Communication, Media Studies, or a related field
